■理工大學昨舉行資訊日，一批中五及中六生到場取經。

理工大學昨舉行教育資訊日，一批中五及中六生到場取經。有「直升機家長」怕子女揀錯科，陪同子女到場。去年理大收生計分方式，統一以四科核心科加一科選修科成績計算，引起爭議，今年校方設3種計分方式，明年2月各學系會公佈選用的計分方法。

資訊日昨吸引4.5萬人到場，學生最關注各學系的收生計分方法。理大指今年改良計分機制，會設3種計分方法，包括沿用去年4科核心科目，即中、英、數及通識科，再加一科選修科目的成績；其餘兩種方法則為任何5科最佳科目成績；或中、英兩科再加任何3科最佳成績。各學系會選擇最合適的機制收生，明年2月公佈詳情。

不少家長昨陪伴子女到場。女兒讀中五的家長吳太說，若不在「起跑線」取得優勢，日後難競爭。她除陪同女兒出席資訊日協助篩選合適學科外，每月會花數千元讓女兒上6個補習班。另一家長曾先生本身是理大畢業生，為了令女兒有更佳前途，中學選科時已為女兒作策略安排，兩科選修科文理兼具，升大學時有更多選擇。不過他認為家長要讓孩子獨立，升讀哪所大學會由女兒決定。

JUPAS 12月3日截止報名，就算到11月底都有最少2個月的時間 (I mean from the date they decided internally to change the rules)，咁都唔夠決定條新 formula，仲要等到出年2月？

已經出咗計算方法，但大學可能最遲用那一個。他們只是穩陣看收生人數。

How about 4+ ? same findings?

If majority students are 1X or 2X, what's the difference, and the number of students per different subjects may have certain effect(s) as well.

DSE 加上4C+1X, 中英通相對數學加一科理科，原始計分法對文科強的學生較有優勢。

現在以最佳5科作組合，理科生才可以公平地跟文科生比拼，特別是一些非專業性學科。

最重要係中英通的校本評核, 未去考公開試就可能被判定無緣入U。三科合計會有三個grade的差別。Phy chem bio 都有校本評核，但相對中英通的校本評核，前者會更標準化，減除不必要的"擦老師鞋"成份。

你經常提到校本評核是主科失手的原因，我唔太明白，為什麼呢？學校老師總唔會大整蠱自己學生拉低入U率吧？

我個人支持校本評核，只是考評局及學店失職。
會否有文理差異，我不敢肯定！

1x => no choice
2x => you still need to pick Chin & Eng ( LS is even lower 5+ rate)
3x => go back old time Phy/ chem/bio/math /eng ( what you had done in F6)

if M1/M2 treated as an independent elective
world goes upside down, science stream become dominant

phy/chem/bio +Math + m1/2

M1 15.2%
M2 31.4%

M1 is higher and M2 is almost double the rate of 5+ compare to art electives

So best 5 is an important change!

歷屆會考狀元，幾乎都是理科生。

而家DSE4 個CORE有3個偏文，一反香港幾十年重理輕文的做法（可以話因為香港是金融商業社會），反而令我有疑問，政府及教育署點解要甘樣改革？
