I have tried the one on Caine Road. The Indian teacher is hopeless and has no passion at all. The Chinese one is good but she is only in charge of the singing session and not a good source to learn English

hi vhunghk,

my son took nursery in discovery park funful last year and its good and satisfactory. he learnt all english letters, few numbers and songs. besides, this campus is clean and new. since it is an indoor school, so no need to worry about sunny/rainy, winter/summer days.

Last Sat, I visited the campus in Discovery Park. My daughter liked it very much. The teacher showed me around the campus. It is big and clean. My daughter also had an interview on that day although I did not bring any photos and required document (eg birth cert...).

But I'm still considering if it is a good timing for my daugther to join .

what is your concern? since my son took pm class with not many students, so the class teacher and amah can pay more attention to my son. make them have good relationship. so i have no regret to send him to funful last year.

I am considering to send my daugther in Aug instead of March because I think it is not the right time to start yet.  Reasons:
(1) My daughter hasn't quited the diaper yet.  Although the school said that amah will change the diaper but I'm still worrying if they can change it regularly.  My original target is to train my bb to go toilet when the weather is not so cold.
(2) Although she will become 2 in Feb (the acceptable age to go to N1) but  if she starts in March, she need to study N1 for 1.5years??!!?? Because she will go to K1 only when 2005.

Therefore, i'm now considering the playgroup for my bb.

I'm not sure if I think it in the right way.  Let me know if you have any comment on this.

as a mother, well understand your concern.

since my son is born in aug, so he enrolled n1 in sept once he is 2 (he is still wearing diaper at that time).  for my experience, the amah did change them regularly but sometimes they forgot to fix their uniform tidily.  overall they are helpful and nice.  of course u can request them to train your baby to go to toilet.  i have such request when he is almost 3.

i suggest u to start in aug (the school starts in aug, not sept) cuz they let the parents to stay at the classroom with the babies for the first week (i miss these days cuz my son started in sept, not aug).  these will let u know more about the school and teachers.

我的二歲半小孩現在就讀在九龍塘方方樂趣幼兒園，起初上學時，說話也不好，只會說單字，而且還要用尿片，我真有點擔心，但開學日，我看見那裡的工作員很親切，有耐心和愛心，經常面掛笑容，小孩上學第一天已經很主動和適應了，我暗地裡已經對他們有著信心。
上學不久，小孩已完全適應，那裡的數學課程也是用英文教學的，不到三個月，他的語言能力已有很大的進步，日常的英文已聽得懂和曉得說，老師更加訓練了他的自理能力，現在不用上尿片了！
方方樂趣值得推薦！

I plan to let my girl to take nursery in discovery park funful in Sept. Can you tell me which class your son join? a.m./p.m./whole day/ international class?
