Hope You don't mind if I tell you my opinion.
1.Can you ask your Indonesia maid to take your daughter to school?
When my daughter was little, I also asked my maid to take her to school. One of the reason was because I could see that she was scared to travel alone by school bus. The other reason was because travelling by school bus usually takes longer time than if my maid took her to school by bus. Long hours travelling by school bus made my daughter somtimes felt sick.
So,I am wondering if i ismy daughter own problems or it happens on children as well.
2.- School fee (incl. bus fee) is same as full day nursery.
Do you think it worths? It depends on what kinds of school you want to send your daughter to.
For me, I had a few choices when my daughter was little . I finally picked up the most costly and remost one because I think it is worth to pay higher tuition fees and travel longer to a nursery which emphasis on Bilingual (Mandarin and English) education. In addition,I perfer nursery with outdoor playareas with healthful sunshires.
Therefore, finally, I have chosen the kindergarten which I think it fits my daughter and which she love the most.
For you, you may have to choose between a school which
'Favour in teching child in polite & characters.' and
'Can train the child in daily selfcare'.
3.- I'm afraid that if my daughter is take full day nursery, then the maid will be so free in day time (before 4:00pm), because of my family just 3 members only.
I think you can arrnage some housework for her to do. Remember to give her a 'To Do list' when she first arrived. That's what I do.
