Dear chw,
I prefer half-day kinder to my daughter because she is taking care by my mother-in-law. I indeed want her to devote sometime in school and sometime with her grandma.
I think she feels happier because grandma can bring her to the park after her nap in the afternoon. Grandma also allows her to watch her favorite VCD, like Elmo and Disneyland. Therefore, half-day kinder is good enough for her after considering of these activities.
