与其花大量时间熟悉多元智能記憶法, (要操几年) , 不如看书, 逛书点, 下棋, 上博物馆. 出席音乐会, 爬山, 一定對子女學習有极大幫助

Was at a talk today and the teacher distinguished between 技能 and 能力. Many parents, myself included, focus on 技能 and use learning as a tool and often forgets that 學習能力 is even more important.

我周时十分贪心,希望技能+學習能力並全,

技能的好处是:快速得到肯定, 提升优越感.(小学时尤其重要)

學習能力: 不容易definite, 聪明的老师和家长才看得出, 要忍耐到高中真正实力才慢慢浮现, 因此要非常细心的留意其各方面发展, 不要出左局都唔知,之前家长必然提心吊胆啊!

女孩子较成熟, 两者兼备的机会大, 男孩就老是大起大落, 要等到Oxford 收左, 阿妈先至有觉好训............日子不易过吧!

凭过往经验, 任何妨碍學習能力发展的, 也可以排到末端, 不是不做, 而是不用博命做, 孩子抗拒额外负担, 不做亦无妨, 孩子在您的温柔鼓励下,愿意加油, 也就继续发展吧!

類似係明明知道肯控制飲食，再加埋跑步打波就可以減肥，但都要比 $1888 去做甚至燒脂療程。

減肥方法:

控制飲食+跑步打波 = 保证100% 有效
常人觉得太辛苦, 大部分唔会做, 其实关键词在于'觉得'二字, 想起来像十分艰巨性, 开左头习惯了, 又见到成绩, 开心死了, 一点也不辛苦的, 把'觉得'二字抛弃, 相信自己, 来个好开始, 其他就易办了. 这点跟培养孩子爱上阅读的道理是十分相近吧!

$1888 去做甚至燒脂療程 - 通常没效果, 是美丽的愿望, $1888 买个愿望是十分便宜的

吃药品,有极大副作用, 必然难以持久- 最终得个'搅'字.

My interpretation was that skills are the "listen, speak, read, write" that we often are concerned about. But at the end of the day, these are just tools. Similar to calculator or computer or any other tools that we use. They are very helpful tools and we all use them to communicate, get into university, find a job, get higher bonus, ...
Ability to learn is a little different. I think of that as motivation to learn, intellectual curiosity, ability to pursue a question and find an answer, ...
