It's not the matter of whether you should let him join English classes or not. It's the matter of separation anxiety and you should deal with it first. I suppose you may take him out to public places like supermarket/ post office/ parks/ fast food store...etc and meet as many people as possible. Or leave him to someone you trust for say 15 mins. Tell him you'll be back after 15 mins. Extend the time for not having you beside him next time. Train him step by step and try to gain his trust. Let him feel safe and know that it's OK to be separated with you for a period of time. |
