In fact, K2 kids are really `small' kids. If your child is `細仔' ( born in Sep - Dec), the situation may make you more anxious. But I think we have to consider the `writing workload' in that KG - whether it is appropriate for your kid. If not, may need to discuss with the teacher. For example, decrease the demand of writing. Secondly, may need to see what are the problems in writing. May be we need to train up the skills for the kids. Or find the professionals for consultation.
You may first discuss with the teacher. See what are their opinion. You may also observe whether your kid is somehow `clumsy' in other aspects, e.g. thread beads, playing lego, always drop things down, etc.
Again, please check if the writing workload is reasonable or not. I have came across some KGs in which the writing is too much. The children have to write a lot of 詞語 and each with more than 6 times. YOu may ask other parents how their kids are coping with writing. In case you find that your kid really has writing problems, go to see a doctor and see if they can make referral for him / her to Child Assessment Center and look for advice from Occupational Therapist. Some kids can change their skills quite a bit if the training starts early.
Oh, you and I both have a Janurary Kid. Try to do more of the dot-to-dot exercise or the copy book that will improve. Do not worry, it's a matter of try and error, the more exercise the quicker to get it right.
