我們應怎去定一間學校（小學）是好還是不好。看舊帖、DBS 年年也俾人鬧安排欠佳,鬧到九彩、為何學不搵PTA 或多D senior student 回來幫手呢？小兒也in 咗數間小學、DBS同WKF差唔多、流程不是差，只是還未到YIng Wa,TSL的那種級數。不過有一點可以肯定、已in 的小孩不能用洗手間是不人道的決定，去interview 的小孩最小只有四歲十個月、在個半鐘內要再小便是不足為奇，希望出年會改善。那些口口聲聲話小孩忍到的家長，能否有點同理心。

有些資深版友話你入到DBS,就一定唔會後悔。但學校是教學的地方，就算語計招生程序的問題，DBS 的教學又如何呢？以往的成績是好的、但未必年年是全港top 10.而且也有人説只靠學校並不能令你攞A,要靠學生自己或外出補習。那麼為何還年年那麼多人報呢？為了校友network,同學背境或者傳統男校的同心brotherhood ?

面試時是上課時間，而且星期三是陸運會。至於PTA我就唔了解。

昨日有事到男拔，見到條龍是在近山下的閘口，離酒樓事實上近好多，回小拔反而要上山。我唔肯定我昨日所見是否跟日前家長的描述有分別。如果一樣，回小拔會遠好多。

小朋友在面試期間能否去廁所？如果能夠之話，我覺得OK。

DBS 的教學又如何呢？similar to other schools, nothing special. But they don't push or encourage students to take more than 8 subjects, even they are capable.

以往的成績是好的、但未必年年是全港top 10.而且也有人説只靠學校並不能令你攞A,要靠學生自己或外出補習。Depends on how you rank the school, base on 10A, EAS, AL results , or university admission...... The school won't focus on drilling, and academic excellence. Of course the school also very liberal in Secondary school won't force you to take or not take tuition. That's students and parents' choices.

那麼為何還年年那麼多人報呢？
1. Like the school. - what?
2. Connection - yes and no
3. Brotherhood - yes
4. Warm up before other DSS interview
5. Academic excellence -myth
6. ECA - many many choices and chances
7. Leadership - all depends, you need to participate

我有另一個疑問，何謂教書，何謂教得好？幫學生補課，操卷.........

我兒子在地區小學就讀，正常教書，冇乜功課，輕輕鬆鬆，由於對手不同，自然名列前茅。到男拔，變成普通人，第一次考試我們覺得他成績大幅倒退，經老師解釋後才明白他們的難處。因為出其他中學考試卷的深淺，大部份學生會取得高分，難分高低及會自滿，只要跟得上就冇問題，不用補習。

ANChan,小孩只能在上到小學部未面試前用學校厠所、面試後要即走。最多家長鬧是這點。去interview 的小孩最細只有四歲十個月，bladder capacity可能小,sphincter control末成熟，理性上in完後想小便絕對可理解，散場後沿著人龍小孩自己下山走入鳳成男廁，真係要十分鐘。感性上，山下鳳城肯借廁所給小孩，山上DBS 小學反而要你走，真係會令很多家長反感。

Liberal studies 及ECA是其他只谷成績的傳統小學比不上DBS的地方。江山自有人材出，CKY,TSL及YW 以至傳統名校SPCC單在收生及面試的流程及安排上我估很多家長也會認為做得十分好。

我冷眼旁觀，有改善空間，不過昨日路過，對部份問題親自目擊，部份跟EK的指控不一樣，都是無謂再挑起爭端。
但作為家長及對孩子的愛護，去廁所可以作彈性處理，其他我覺得問題不大，或者不是問題。

原來面試其間係有得去架！阿仔話有好多哥哥打斜掛住條布(即風紀)帶舉手問啲小朋友去洗手間㖭！哈！我個衰仔都有份去
