No need to state anything specially about the family status. Just fill in information about both parents as normal. Unless the school ask about your family status, no need to mention 'single parent family' because it is not supposed to be the consideration of acceptance. This principle (or technique so to speak) also applies to the child's interview. You need to explain this to your child beforehand. As for the parents' part of interview, unless both parents are willing to cooperate and well prepare for the interview, otherwise it may be rather risky. Simply attending but performing badly during the interview will do more harm than good. In fact, it is not that difficult to find an excuse to explain why the dad/mum not able to attend. |
