No issues at all. I was also a big fan of a famous singer in the past. As long as you don't indulge, it could actually a good motivation force when you study. Same to adults, we need something to release our pressure. As long as the singers are with good image, than no harm.
hahaha....I also had idols when I was young. I guess it's just a natural process. But yes, it's very difficult to put some control on the kids. I would think one of the method is to get involved (e.g. you watch the video with your daughter) + encourage your daughter to have other interests (e.g. playing sports, or even encourage her to take serious singing or dancing lessons). I know it's very difficult to the parents but hope this helps.
