首屆中學文憑試明日放榜，考評局公布考生整體成績，約 7 萬名日校考生中， 2 萬 6 千多人即 3 成 7 考獲高等院校入學資格。

考評局表示， 83 人獲 5 科 5** 成績， 707 人獲 5 科 5* 或以上。 4 個核心科目中， 9 成考生通識科考獲 2 級或以上，考獲 5** 的佔百分之 0.8 ，中文科有近 5 成人獲 3 級或以上，百分之 0.8 考獲 5** 級。至於英文科 5** 級的同樣佔百分之 0.8 ， 3 級以上的佔約 5 成。數學必修部分，就有 8 成考生考獲 2 級或以上水平。考生的中、英文最少要考獲 3 級，數學及通識最少要考獲 2 級，才符合報讀資助大學學位資格。

HKU may use UCAS' expert report as reference, grade 4 equivalent to D or E of HKALE. It makes sense to us.

It appears that a pass means at least a "3", "2" or below is fail.

The minimum qualification for entering Universities should at least be 4433.

In that case, the number of "actual eligible" candidates will be dropped from 26k to 18k or lower?

首屆中學文憑試今日放榜，4男1女考生考獲7科5**，成為首屆文憑試狀元。

5名狀元中，皇仁書院佔兩名，觀塘聖言中學及九龍城培正中學各有1名，至於唯一女狀元，來自尖沙嘴嘉諾撒聖瑪利書院。

皇仁書院其中一名狀元馬浩賢指，成績比預期中好。

首屆中學文憑試，約7萬名日校考生參加，逾2.6萬人考獲大學入學最低資格。考生今日起可以申請覆核成績，下周三截止，覆核結果會在下月20日公佈。

非聯招生霸一半學額

中學文憑試放榜，家長也緊張。由於只有兩成考生可經聯招升上大學，但部份熱門科目被揭發有多達四、五成學額撥了給非聯招學生，考生家長怒吼「不公平」，更批評大學不公佈非聯招比例是黑箱作業。爭奪大學學位的深層次矛盾進一步擴大。

多間大學拒公佈詳情

撥給非聯招學生的學額比例，以香港大學最多；建築系約有五成，醫科有三至四成，法學有三成；中大建築學也達三成。現時聯招只公佈各課程的學額總數，而沒有聯招與非聯招比例，學生和家長須逐一向各院系查詢；嶺大、浸大、教育學院及公開大學更拒絕公開比例詳情。
近日不少家長向教育團體批評非聯招學額比例過大。女兒是應屆文憑試考生的陳太（化名），為女兒放榜籌謀時，才發現港大或中大建築系雖分別有65及35個學額，但原來有五成及三成學額撥予非聯招學生。大學職員向她表示，非聯招學生多數是國際學校及海外回流學生，還有少量副學士學生。陳太氣憤地說：「係唔係有錢就有更多嘅升學機會？真係好唔公平！」陳太又投訴，大學聯招無公佈非聯招比例是黑箱作業，「如果佢哋講埋，我就知道競爭好劇烈，識得點安排揀科次序。」《蘋果》記者

Apart from Mainland applicants and some international students, all Non-jupas applicants are local students but they do not take the DSE (or HKAL in previous years). All 9 colleges are publicly funded and all Non-jupas applicants (except Mainland and International applicants) are local people, The non-Jupas applicants should have equal chance of studying at the local colleges. The colleges would equate carefully the qualifications of the non-Jupas students with the DSE results. I think it not fair if a non-Jupas whose result is better than a DSE student (with a wide gap) but is rejected due to the rigid quota and the DSE student is admitted.

I think from the collegs' point of view, the admission policy is fair and reasonable. They all want to admit better students.
