My daughter is accepted in the pre-nursery classes of KCK蘇浙 and Lingnan. What is your comments on these two nurseries? Thanks.

我個仔都係一樣, 而且救世軍亦話收佢. 我想幫佢揀一間有愛心及令佢快樂成長的幼兒/稚園,應該點揀好呢?? 三間都各有好評呢!!

謝謝你的意見, 我自己都好鍾意救世軍.

各位,
在報考的過程中, 救世軍亦令我覺得佢哋最有誠意與家長溝通.  佢哋係唯一一間由園長親自接見(單獨)我哋家長嘅幼兒/稚園.  面試其間, 佢哋完全無考小朋友, 祇同我哋了解大家的教學理念及對小朋友的期望.

但亦由於佢哋嘅有教無類, 佢哋唔會揀學生,  所有小朋友都是排隊入學的.  咁唔知會唔會有好多新移民的小朋友在此校就讀呢??  希望大家原諒我這個問題好像有點歧視, 但作為土生土長的我, 會覺得佢哋新移民嘅育兒方針與我們大有不同.........!!  請問有小朋友在救世軍就讀的家長可告訴我嗎?? 謝謝!!

I can advise on Lingnan becoz my girl is studying K1 now. For my daughter, she loves the school very much & she never cries even she didn't take any PN. The school is good, they love children, study is relax (but I may rate them a little bit over easy). Teachers are good, they are well-trained & overall, love the children. Parents there are ok la, I don't think there's any 新移民, if yes, just some rich 新移民! And they have many classes on each grade, so children can share better resources (more professional teachers, I think). My only concern for my girl in this school is their academic education is too easy & concentrate on Chinese. Apart from these, I will absolutely think it's a good KG.

Thanks for your sharing about Lingnan. I'm interested in this KG too. Is it directly linked to Lingnan Primary School which is at the same address? Is its primary school good? Most grateful for your reply.

It's depends on your standard of "good". To me, not really. For primary school, I'll pay more (not all) attention on the academic education, but Lingnan Primary may not be so strong in this area. I can just say the aim of this school (KG & primary also) is extremely good to children, but may not so competitve in HK society. If you want to let yr kid has a wonderful/happy KG life without pressure, then you must choose this school. And also, don't mind they are not emphasize on Eng teaching. Hope to see you all next year!
