Do you mean "toddler class" for those younger kids?
My daughter attended "toddler class" in Harbour Height before. She quited after 3 months coz she has to go to Britain. You could refer to those old topics in "kindergarten", there are quite a lote of discussion regarding this kindy.
I think Toddler class is quite similar to "nursery class". but the school just puts those smaller kids in this class . anyway, they will promot to the same K1 at last. Personally, I prefer my daughter to attend Toddler class more than playgroup coz she could learn to be more independent. unlikes playgroup, we need to find somebody to go with her and she used to stick to that person without any interaction with other kids. The school used to have theme for each month. I dare not say she could learn a lot from there but I am sure it is better than playgroup. I think the school will also toilet-train the kids there. There are so many Victoria located in diff area. I think it is quite easy to get accepted. but not easy to have am class (somebody say).it is definitely a commercial kindy.there is 1 native teacher, 1 local teacher and 1 assitance in 1 class. b4 we left, my daughter's class had less than 15 kids. you have settling period for the first few weeks. 1 hour per day and gradually increases to 3 hours per day. my daugher did cry in the first few days and she loved the school very much after few weeks after she got used to the environment there.i didnt buy any materials from the school coz many people say most of them are quite useless. you just use them at home with yr kids. i also didnt join any PTA as well. but if you join it, you could get access to their website page and download those pictures of your kids in the school.
actually, if my daughter didnt come to me, i will switch her to KCS (so chit) coz i want her to study Putonghau as well as English. Becoz Victoria informed me that my daughter could probably promote to Eng/Can K1 class as places in Put/Can are very limited. (you have no choice for Toddler class).
