we are facing the same dilemma... LH pm vs. york am

where are you living? it would be a determining factor to your decision. regardless the negative comments on york's admin and marketing style, ref the comments of mums in EK, york's graduates did get trained to have a solid foundation before proceeding to P1. while LH adopted a modern approach and has quite good placement records on applications for DSS/private schools..

your decision would likely be hinged on your living location, the teaching style which could well suit your kids' personalities.

學之園比較近我，其實上網都見到有關York既評論比較負面，而且較多收費，之前去辦入學手續見到d老師態度麻麻冇乜笑容，不過就地方較大，活動空間多d囉

Summer holiday lasts for about 2 to 3 weeks, from 20 something of July to 10 something of August. Hence, the school fee for July and August are also counted.

York $4592x11 ,另未開學已經收了差不多$5000(包括雜費、茶點、餐具、校服），未計書報費，因18／4前要交埋第一個月學費及書報費，所以要考慮入讀York or LH

don't take the attitude issue to serious. ref EK, most of the mums would encounter 'black face' on the interview days of those elite KG. the teachers were handling more than 3000 nos of interviews. they were very busy on the day and not able to a very nice facial expression to every encounters. however, a nos of mums would find them actually very nice on normal school days.

i think the location and the style of teaching would be quite important.

受人錢財, 替人消災, 是天經地義的. 做生意, 邊個老闆唔係諗住賺錢. 問題係, 君之愛財, 是不是取之有道, 你俾一百元, 買番幾多錢的服務.

其他人interview York我唔知, 我個仔in, 老師真係無黑面, 而且還好有愛心. Interview的房間雖然並不只一個老師in一對家長, 但並不嘈吵. Interview的時候, 有主任要走入來, 先輕聲敲門, 再小心翼翼的開門, 以免影響小朋友分心. 這些都是為小朋友多諗一步的做法.

五星級酒店門口個boy, 每天要同幾百人打招呼, 可唔可以黑面? 我只能說, 老師黑面, 我會諒解, 但絕對不會認為這是正常的.

我試過in另一家比較local的幼稚園, 我個仔in緊, 老師入來, 又出番去, 但沒有關門, 出面嘈到好似茶樓. 我認為是安排欠周到.

當然, LH近年冒起好快, 成績驕人. LH的interview安排一樣唔差, 所以, York跟LH, 其實差唔遠.

That being said, 我認為應該揀LH. 雖然我好欣賞York, 原因係, 你give up左LH, LH在K1取錄你的機會好細. 但你今次give up左York, 你讀LH, 發覺都係York好, 你再考K1, York仍然有好大機會取錄你.

Totally agree with super1984 below comments.
