I will consider the secondary school district of these two:
HRGPS (PM) will be in Wanchai, main choices of band 1 secondary schools are QC (nominated) and SKH Tang Shiu Kin. Something that you must consider is the nominated seats for QC (1) is very limited and (2) needs to compete with HRGPS (AM). The up side of course is no school fees for 6 years and it does have a rather pushy curriculum to support more students to band 1 to be more competitive.
SLSPS will be in Central and Western district, main choices of band 1 secondary schools are SLS (Feeder) and KC. Up side is as long as staying comfortably in band 1 to band 2 range, basically entering SLS is automatic. The transition in P1 will be smoother but down side is need today school fees.
I am SLS old boy so I may be biased.
