As most of the primary are subvented or government primary, but the kindergarten are private.
So I can only say that the related kindergartens have higher chances to get in the primary, but it all depends on how many points you have got especially in the first round.

I can only quote those that are related:

Hong Kong (to secondary): St Paul Convent, 玫瑰崗學校幼稚園, 香港真光中學幼稚園, 聖伯多祿幼稚園,
Hong Kong (to primary): Victoria kindergarten

Kowloon (to secondary): Heep Yunn, St Rose, 聖三一堂幼稚園, 培正幼稚園, 啟思 (secondary school available in 2006), mun sang etc
Kowloon (to primary):York

Can any BK mothers supplement?

For those no connection kindergarten, my friends told me that the kids will go throught the so call "大抽獎" to enter primary schools, no matter which kinder is. Do you know if this will real be the "大抽獎" ?? Or, The primary schools will really count on points (like, if any brothers or sister had studied in the school,..., etc) ?? I feel this so confused !!

For the first round, it really depends on how many points you have - your kid will get directly into the school if you have brothers or sisters studying in the same school primary.

But I know that some schools, sometimes after the final round, if they still have quotas, they will admit the kids from their own kindergarten as priority.

My friend also told me that there are 2 types of primary schools in nature, the first is you need to pay (school fee) and another is you need not.

For those you need to pay are the private schools, and those not need are the government schools & subsidrary schools.

We participate in the first round only for applying those schools we do not need to pay.  But, on another hand, for the private schools, you have to apply individual anyway.

In your message, do you mean the schools (no need to pay) will still have quota after the final round and we can still apply ??  Just want to clarify.

Or, there are only 2 senarios - we participate the "大抽獎" for the schools no need to pay, and, for the private schools, we apply & interview individually ... thks....

我正為女孩選擇幼稚園而苦惱，心想有‘一條龍’的幼稚園可免日後為小，中學又要煩惱，也不想孩子過了一次又一次的考試壓力。如果在港島區，也不管public and private school，心想的中學如嘉諾撒聖心，庇理羅士，聖嘉勒。她們的直升幼稚園是那間呢？

Hello,

You can apply as many private schools (those you have to pay) as you like individually but you can still apply the drawing lots for the "no need to pay" school.
However, for some that have private kindergarten with "no need to pay" primary schools, there may be higher chances for the kindergarten kids to go to their P.1 if there are still places available after the final "draw lots" results available.
