Any mum with child attending (or attended before) the 3-5 yr old piano class at Parson's? My son went for his first lesson last Sat and it looks so boring to me. It's a group lesson with 8 children cramped in a small room. During the whole hour, the teacher just taught the children the left/right hand and did some colouring. No music at all! Anyone can share their experience/comments? Do you think your child has got anything out of the lesson?
No, the $170 class is for parent & child, which is very full and cannot offer a place until 6 months later. The one my son is attending is for the child only. I could observe what he did only because it's the first lesson.
