I think it depends on you live on Hong Kong or Kowloon. Because I think Victoria in Hong Kong side is better (as the one in Kowloon is too new). But SC in Kowloon is good.

Ernest's mum,

My son is also admitted to SC, Kent and Victoria.
Victoria is new in Kowloon side, it takes time to build up it's reputation. I will choose SC or Kent as they are well established.

Is your son now studying in prenursery school?

You may let your son start the school term in Feb 2005 in Victoria (Homantin) to see if Victoria is good.

Don't worry, we still have plenty of time.

But my hubby said they could only have native english teachers (class teacher) for K.1, not for K.2 and K.3!!!!!!!

Hello, my daughter is now studying in K.3 in SC. Each class has native English teacher from K.1 to K.3. So your hubby may have 收錯料.

I ask the school directly just recently and they confirm that native English teacher will stay in class all the time only in K1. From K2 to K3, the English teacher only teaches for around 30 mins. everyday in each class. This is also confirmed by one of my friend whose son graduated from SC.

Is this true for yur daughter?

I choose to stay at Think International, I guess similar to your kid's current school - LH. So you decide to switch?

My girl is studying in SC now. I think SC is good in English as it establish a good environment for the kids to learn English. Most of the kids are willing to express themselves in English. They can also listen and understand English very well. Although the time for native English teacher is less in K2 and K3, they will study in small group and start reaing English story books. So, I'm satisfied with my daughter's English ability now.

My child also studies in SC now in K2. They have two class teachers - one chinese & one English. But, one thing need to mention that the Eng teacher will not stay in the class all the time. Only around 20 minutes per day as you can see the time-table in the classroom. I also think it's not enough but my kid can speak english with full sentence. We didn't employ any Phipp mail and we seldem speak english with her. But she still can saying this I'm quite 安慰.

Of course, if you join some more course outside and you always practise with her/him, she will improve alot. That's must.

What is LH? My child is studying at a local kindy with one western and one Chinese class teacher. I'm happy to see that he can communicate in English with me and his classmates.

I just guess to be Learning Habitat! Never mind la! Everyone has his/her own criteria and measurement. There are so many choices now vs SC or Kent, that's why we have such a headache!

Victoria at Homantin is so new, but I believe it will become a big competitor to SC and Kent. Let's see

Oh! I see. LH is no good wor! Yes, everyone is holding a different ruler. Yes, I've been overwhelmed lately. I also think of Vic in HMT if my kid has a bad time in Kentville. But many people said it is very commercial - another headache la. How come our thoughts are so closed!
