我女兒也是維記學生，升甚麼小學要視乎你覺得小朋友的性格及能力較適合傳統學校還是活動教學。

維記 = Victoria ?

Victoria K3畢業嘅去乜學校都有，三分一度升維記小學，大部份去番主流小學，小部份去international school

not much use, becoz their teaching method and content is tailormade for its stident to go VAS. But their English level is v high

Agree! Victoria will not provide resources/ support in helping your kids to go P1. Cos they will only promote VSA. Also, fyi, yes...1/3 will go to Victoria primary school, 2nd will be : HKUAGA 3rd: Ramondi College...indeed, my son is K3 in Victoria now, what the school has built up is his language. The course content is not tailor-made/ fit to those P1 that focus in academic.

When my daughter attend interview, I know she lack of many things compare with others. I guess her english is v strong enough to go thru many interview, but nowadays most interview were conducted by cantonese....

I only said that the English level is very good compare with Cannan., even the Putonhua communication is also good, because my daugher had transfer from Cannan. I find that she has a good development in English & Putonhua.

My friend's child got accepted by a famous international school after graduating from Victoria. Of course, her Eng. was okay, but I guessed that the more important factor was whether the family could afford 12 years of tuitions. That int. school wouldn't want students to drop out due to financial problems. For DSS schools, even financial problems arise to a student, that student can still study there. But financial aids probably won't happen in private or int. schools.

我覺得維記很着重培養小朋友兩文三語，而且，透過愉快學習（若比較其他有名的KG，維記課程較淺），我女兒反而更有自信。其實，作為家長當然要提供額外資源及時間以提升他們的potentials。

what I came to realize is that some schools are better at spoken english and some are stronger in written english such as spelling, reading. Vic uses inquire based teaching (more similiar to ib I believe). I am not saying the approach vic take is wrong but do vic provide the sufficient training students need to survive in local mainstream schools or get through the p1 application process? I think parents who want to send their kids to vic should think this through carefully.

ps, I heard recommendation letter from vic's principal is a v useful asset for p1 application.
