My boy is currently studying in their Pre-K class. My plan is also to send him into Anfield's Primary the next step.

However you won't be able to get any current student's comment here because they are opening in 2012, as far as I know. They have an open day next week that you can join. But I am confident that their Primary section will do well. A low profile org/institute yet high quality management/education, I believe.

Anfield Primary is newly established..... How can you be so sure that it's good? Did you go to their briefing session? Could you share more info with us?

I attended their briefing. May be it's a bit pre-mature to comment on the school which is still under further upgrading (since a lot of facilities are not built or installed yet when i visited the school). The teaching passion is there, some key points i observed or got from the briefing are:
1) physically relatively small
2) they teach traditional chinese every day (about 1 hour)
3) emphasized that they have quite a lot of homework
4) emhasized that will strive to perform academically.
5) no secondary school
6) with music, sports, arts, and religion on top of normal academic subjects
7) students will be assigned into different colors of houses to promote internal competition/team goals.
8) fee about 10,000 per month (pls check their web site, can't recall the exact amount).
9) kindergarten students have priority for entrance.
10) Now has the first year 1 and year 2 students already, even though just a few.

thank you!! I missed the open day. It's quite interesting for an IS to stress the homework load.

What 's your impression of this school after visiting?

A weight between what they offer and what they charge, I decide not to apply for it. And most importantly, it's only their 2nd year of Primary school, many things are unset, I think parents have to be prepared to face the commom problems of a new school. Especially that my child is not an Anfield kinder child, so, I don't have special passion to "start the farming" process with the school. But I'm not saying that it is bad. Just my impression and line of thinking only.
