我的小朋友9月上小一了, 有無家長可分享吓讀過呢兩間學校嘅英文班的心得呢?

兩間d英文班都好似圍繞劍橋課程來教,真難選擇....

英基$3200/10堂,每堂2小時;英國文化$4200/15堂,每堂1.5小時.

My niece has studied in BC for 3-4 years, now she is P.6, band 1 student. In BC, each grade would be divided into 3 levels of students by test, the smartest group always from ENG primary schools or even foreigners, my niece is only from CHI primary, but she is also in that class, teaching speed is fast and systematic (金鐘centre).

I am going to enrol ENG course for my K1 girl, want to know more about ESF, anyone can share? how about the location?

My son has studied in British Council since K2 and now is P1.
And my girl also joined the class this year (start from last Sept).
I think the class for kindergarten (K1, K2) is quite good and systematic.
But my son complained too simple for K3.
I will let them try the trial class in ESF in the coming Easter.

I find the difference for the class structure of ESF.
They use level : K1-2 / K3-P1 / P2-3

I enrolled the ESF Clever Cubs in Becaon Hill School. They have many locations. Please check www.esf.org.hk

Dear All Parent,
If you want your kids has good English.
Any course is not important.
The enviroment is more important.

My kid never go to any course.
His english standard so far "OK"
Mover completed in K3
Flyer completed in P1.
Will take KET or PET in comming Sep.
Now, he is P1 Boy in english school.

You must pay 100% effort & time.
15% from class tutor.
60% from english enviroment.
25% from kids himself.

My teacher told me that when i am young:-
"English is learning from enviroment not from book."

thank you, checked and need to wait till July as free trial class is full for K1 already. I may try Tsing Yi kindergarten class.

what kinder did your son study? I agree your thoughts but my girl's kinder is Chinese base.

My Kid studied in "GuidePosts"
It is 100% Chinese & Estate kg.
We switch off all chinese media at home before K1.
And speaks simple english sentence at home before P.1.
English standard of my wife & me are F.5 only.
We paid "heart and time" & provide a enviroment only.
My kid , 7 yr-old, is a Pearl watcher without chinese subtittle bar.
Other then English, he is learning Japanese, Spainish & French in school.
These language is very simple, just a color, number, hello and goodbye.
Now, he wanted Japanese & French in more, I will try to provide enviroment of it.
I think most of parent education background is good and better than me.
Today, most parent time is money, use money employ tutor for 1 or 2 hr daily.
When u attended the class, all english is very simple.
I think most parent can teach the child before P3 level but no time to do or no teaching material.
For material, I recommand "Disney Mail", cost less then $500 per month.
The material can be reused for my next kid. He is 4 yr old.
It is teaching the parent, how to teach kid before P3 at home.
The learning ability and foundation of language for kid is 0~6 yr old.

My wife & me is working MA& PA.
We give up all personal time only.

I think of modern parent,
pay money for child is easy.
pay time to kid is difficult.

Therefore, many kids are selflish do not care and love other person.

If parent can teach the foundation and basic skill to child, they lerning power is large.
Even languages, maths or manner, they can handle and learn it.

英基冇報過唔知. 但英國文化協會完全唔得. 我覺得係浪費小朋友時間同大人金錢. 仲有好緊要係師資問題, 可能我地唔好彩, 撞正個唔好既老師. 黑口黑面對住小朋友, 第一堂就聽到個老師大聲呼渴個小朋友返埋位. 完全感受唔到佢會ENJOY教小朋友英文. 帶小朋友出黎放學又o係我地家長面前放蚊, 好似好辛苦o甘. 佢直頭係為兩餐而教, 一d heart都冇.

仲有個助教, 居然鬧我小朋友. 而我小朋友係因為唔識做而比佢鬧. 佢係助教, 應該係黎幫小朋友, 而唔係鬧到佢唔想返學. 我小朋友比佢鬧完下一堂巳同我講唔想返. 我咪投訴佢羅. 我小朋友英文叻都唔駛黎讀啦. 你厭麻煩咪唔好教羅. 唔好去害有心學野既小朋友. 打擊佢地信心. 我又衰, 明知唔好都仲報埋下學期, 因我諗住拿張cert.呀. 我係白白浪費$9,000 x 2=$18,000呀, 因為我係一孖架.
