小囡有幸入到聖芳濟各和林文燦的second-in, 可惜兩間時間相撞要作出取捨, 比你會去見邊間呢, 原因呢? 請分享~

但正路應是sfa吧?

You if just consider the chance, of course go to LMC, almost 50% can get in. But, that doesn't mean you will get the seat for sure.

I also applied LMC but failed to get 2nd in. This is the least competitive school on my list, the chance is around 1/3 to get 2nd int. But, I got offers from those schools which are much more competitive say, 1/15 to 1/18.

My conclusion is choose the one you like more unless you have nothing on hand.

我對這兩間學校的了解如下:

sfa - 出名d, 課程深, 用英文教學(中文用普通話)

lmc - 好多不同種族學生(呢點我buy, 因可能咁樣先push到我女講多d外語), 唔夠sfa出名但課程我不太清楚)

請問仲有無其它.

其實我本身無諗住報呢2間的, 只係突然覺得横掂都要比學費不如揀d英文小學比佢試下(基本上我對佢入second-in既期望亦不大, 因佢平日好少講英文, 諗住比佢見識下), 點知依家居然兩間都有second-in, 但又要取捨, 真係有又煩, 無又煩.

另外, 私校/直資我係用作backup, 如考女心儀津校可能會放棄的.

flobby, didn't your kid get 2nd in from SMC? strikes me that you got 2nd in opp from SMC but not LMC....

Yes, ah! My kid even said LMC's interview is pretty easy compared to SMC's one. I wonder why he failed? OK la, I don't have to choose now, we can go to SFA for 2nd in on Sat though I like LMC more. No need to struggle then.

The whole process took about 1 month. We had the 2nd in 3 weeks after the 1st one. Then the offer letter came 10 days after the 2nd in.

flobby, you don't want to accept SMC's offer but want to have 2nd in. at LMC?? and you prefer SPA over SMC? now, i'm puzzled....
