我女兒現在讀F3 要揀定科預備升F4，她的成績中下下(現在已補習望可改善)，她想讀2文科+1理科(Physics)，但她學校好怪，只可揀2文科+Biology，但我個女啲Bio和Chem好差，她毫無興趣，我打算跟學校講講，但我想問問大家意見:

1. 如果學校分配唔到她想讀的科目，我應該叫她接受繼續原校讀落去嗎?

2. 如果學校分配唔到她想讀的科目，我應該叫她轉校去讀她想讀的科目嗎? 其他學校F4可揀2文科+1理科(Physics) 嗎?

3. 如果多數讀唔到她想讀的科目，留班再讀多年做好啲成績，這想法好嗎?

請給我一些意見

如果是我，會轉校讀自己專長又有前途的科，不看目前。

Her school's arrangement is normal.)，但我個女啲Bio和Chem好差，她毫無興趣，我打算跟學校講講 (No harm to discuss with the class master.)，但我想問問大家意見:

1. 如果學校分配唔到她想讀的科目，我應該叫她接受繼續原校讀落去嗎? (I think so if her standard is medium low, she can only move to equal or lower banding school.)

2. 如果學校分配唔到她想讀的科目，我應該叫她轉校去讀她想讀的科目嗎? 其他學校F4可揀2文科+1理科(Physics) 嗎? (I doubt it... May be some secondary school teachers share their school arrangement.)

3. 如果多數讀唔到她想讀的科目，留班再讀多年做好啲成績，這想法好嗎? (Get better ranking has more choice, now is end of May, a bit too late. For repeat, better discuss with the teacher....)

One more point, she will take M1 or M2 in F4 or not? If she is not, just Physics only, what she wants to study in future?

依加既大學好多都要同學讀數(m1 / m2)

文理配會造成高不成低不就的局面

So many parents and students overlook the importance of M1/M2.

I consider mixed stream is a good choice, if the student know why and really understand his future career and programs.......

E.g. Maths - Core + M2, Chemistry, Physics and Economics/BAFS, she can go for medicine, engineering, science, finance, accounting........

She may pick her target program(s) in university or IVE first, and work back the min requirements of subjects and grades........

Will she take M1/M2, M2 is better? If no M1/M2, no chance for Engineering.

Go to any Engineering program and check the min requirements and relevant subjects.......

5間之中，只有中大講到明實要M1/M2，其他都……唔知係咪驚死你唔來，收生不足容乜易殺系架
正所謂第一年common core，入左去再幫你打底嘛

M1/M2 needs 3 years and the student can't pass or even take the subject, one year remedial maths can turn it around. It's a miracle...........

I know HKIE pays special attention on all those engineering programs after 334 (Maths and Physics) , engineering students' standard drop will affect the Reciprocal Recognition Agreement of world wide Engineering professional bodies based on Washinngton Accord.

我發現如果在香港F4揀唔到讀到Physics,到F5就算如果肯比錢去外地讀都唔可以讀Physics

嘩!!! 估唔到會影響這麼深遠!!!!!!!! 永遠翻不到身

支持轉校或重讀
我阿女就是人辦，
明明數學唔得但學校冇其它揀，唯有讀企概，次次考試五合格，影響信心，越讀越冇心機。。。
如果可以重來，我寧願揀藝術或其他科，
一步走錯就要行3年，家長要小心選擇。

要睇清楚大學科目既收生要求, 好多時D科目係要求計修讀2科Science既科, 讀一科science係無乜用咋..

小朋友通常唔會特別邊科好有興趣喇, 按佢能力揀科啦~ 出去補習啦

其實講真，Phy, Chem, Bio, Maths 都要補。不過以本人多年來的替人補習的經驗，一般學生成績最差是 physics，因九成教師跟本冇能力教到學生去考公開試。市面上的課本也做不到這層次。通常教師深的部分 hea 教，當他們做 past paper ，知道考試要求，又不夠時間 study 時，就出事。

音樂團可能對入大學讀音樂可能有幫助，其餘的科目應該沒有幫助。
