As told by some of the parents before, if you accept the offer of a DSS school, you will normally be required to sign an undertaking to give up the allocation of P.1 places through the gov't mechanism. The status of accepting the DSS school offer will be entered into the relevant computer database of the Education Bureau, hence the authority will definitely know.
I understand that upon their enquiry, the Education Bureau will also provide the private schools with the "status" of students under question so that the schools can really take out the students from the confirmed list to the waiting list.
Therefore, it's wise for parents to plan well ahead by, among other things, drawing up a list of ideal schools for their kids.

thank you for your reply. Does that mean, 我一accept offer,就冇得參加任何政府派位~
