The concern here is, out of 100 students, only 82 of them are listed in this link. Although we may not be able to know which schools they are, there is a point which worth paying attention to.
Since St. Clare's primary is feeder school, so there are certain number of seats reserved for band 1/2 students of their own. In this case, there should be around 76-79 (I have the exact number in another computer) reserved. However, based on the allocation result, it indicates that the quota are not totally fulfilled. A few reasons may have caused this:
(1) The teachers made a wrong estimate and advised some of the band 2 students to choose other band 2 schools instead of own school;
(2) The parents are too aggressive and didn't choose St. Clare's so they failed to lower choices;
(3) There are not enough band 1/2 students, which would means the remaining 18 are their band 3 students. If unfortunately this is the case, then it is a relatively high number for a private primary school.
Honestly, whatever number it will just be our guess. If we have met these parents, then it will be easier to guess since you can predict from their behaviour and expectation on how wrong their selections are.
I have deal with many of these parents, and feel sorry for the teachers who have gave advices to them too. The allocation system probably is too difficult for them to comprehend. So it is good for us to talk about it more so they can learn from example! It's a big waste in this case where some of these girls cannot get a good allocation.

I think some parents are too aggressive while some teachers and parents could not develop in-depth understanding of strategies for the allocation system. Look on the bright side. The remained seats have still been occupied by the girls outside in good academic standing.
