If I were you, I would choose St Paul for sure (no need to thnk):
- It has a good secondary school. A Chikiang teacher once told me "蘇浙中學送都唔好要". It's true that some Chikiang students managed to get into some good secondary schools, such as 張祝山, but you need to be the top few, and competition is quite great.
- St Paul provides a good all-rounded education. Its Chinese, Eng and Maths standards are good in general. Chikiang is only stong in Chinese.
- St Paul is a subsidized school, whereas Chikiang is a private school (school fees: $3,000+).
A friend's daughter who used to study in Chikiang primary school was very happy to be able to get in St Paul Secondary School. So why not get in St Paul Primary in the first place, if you were given a chance?
