I wish my daughter will be the same case as your boy in the future She is a late taker, doesn't speak well in English and Chinese. When she was in PN and K1, she spoke Chinese in a English sentence structure. Even though her english vacab. knowledge is above average, she doesn't speak well. She has gone through 6 months speech therapy to improve her articulation. Now in K2,in term of using words to express herself or to describe event, still not as good as her peer group.
Problem: maybe she is not a nature speaker plus I mainly teach her English ever since she was born. Not until she went to pn, I found out she could not speak well and I stopped using English to talk to her.
