Any one know about the naming of the classes.

NC?
GC?
GB?
GA?

As the school is very busy today, any parents can help to explain the meaning or nature of these classes.  Such as it is for 3 years old classes? international stream or local stream? etc.  many thanks!

GA, GB, GC are international classes for K3, K2 and K1 *NOW.

The school issued a memo last year saying there will be restructuring of the PTH education in local stream classes so I'm not sure if the names of the classes will be changed.

You are thinking of changing over to International stream?

Thank you for your information.

Actually, we would like to know more about the international stream before making any decision.  Any comment about the international stream?

Have you asked if the school still allows transferral from local to international?

My boy changed from local to international class at K1, he adapted ok. My girl was enrolled into the international class at pre-nursery, she did even better. So I think young kids really can manage Eng+PTH+Cantonese.

The school told me that if there is space, it is possible to make a transfer.  I am still thinking of the necessity of changing class.   May I know why you would like to have your kids in the international stream?

The best thing we like about HKPS is their international class arrangement.  We thought it a must for our kids to know PTH + English.  Having a PTH class teacher and an Eng class teacher give the kids the best exposure possible.
We do not speak PTH at home but my kids can now "change channels" themselves.  One minute they are talking in Cantonese, the other minute they will be arguing in Eng or PTH.  Isn't that wonderful?
