just conducted the interview for York this morning. I have the impression that the school is really very commercial, and it seems that the interview focus more on the parents than on the kids.
they allow both father and mother to attend the interview. There are two interviewers, one will ask parent some general questions, like where will you take your baby during holidays? During the same time, another interviewer will play with your baby to see how they react. The interview is rather simple indeed.
babybbmama, are you sending your application form late so that your interview is scheduled on the coming Saturday? I sent mine only in early Nov, received the interview letter on 16 Nov and attended the interview on 20 Nov. Woo, only a few days notification, quite nervious in fact on the interview day.
i just phoned York to ask about the interview arrangement. They said that 20/11 is the 1st round for bigger BB (0901-0903), and 27/11 is the 2nd round for smaller BB (0904 onwards). I just wonder why my girl was put in the 1st round? this would be unfair to her as other BB should perform better than her. she was born in late April, nearly May.
anyway, the interview is over, just wait and see the result.
