除了那幾間名牌直資如SPCC, 女拔, 男拔之外，還有那些直資的校風，學術成績較好。港島區的中華基金中學和港大同學會書院，那間較好？我知港同全部自己收生不參加派位，不知中基是否全部派位，有沒有得自己考？

HKUGA - you need to apply this school through the same process as the other DSS....you need to download the form from the website & send it back to the school. Then they will pick the suitable ones for interview. Please note that there is no deadline for the application. Based on the experiences from my friends, they usually accept the early applicants if they fit. The placements will be fulfilled shortly. If you want to apply this school for "safefy purpose", you need to plan ahead & submit the application form at the "right time".

CFSS - you need to apply this through the same process as the other gov't subsidized schools.... you can send the application form to the school at the first stage for DI. Then you can also select it in the lucky draw. FYI, there are 150 placements in S1 this year. 75 (50%) are accepted by the school in the first stage. Another 60 are for "lucky draw".The last 15 are for the ones who need to "knock the door".

我就是想揾一間二線的DSS，SPCC、女拔並不是我target。囡囡5年級下學期成績下跌了，如果去到band 1 尾或band 2 頭，我怕抽唔到好的英中，所以想報DSS。我聽聞兩三年前中基有保留部份位(好似幾十個位)，給自己收生，唔需要跟教統局DI及大抽獎條隊，如果收左還可以報其他DSS，但現在只有十幾個叩門位

另外，最近見有post提及中基學會考和高考成績幾好，但又怕學校作風傳统和比較吹谷。HKUGA我都好想試，但是新校，沒有成績可參考。我見BK唔多人講HKUGA，唔知校風和學術手平得唔得

You are right - in the past, CFSS got 50 seats in 1st stage, 50 seats in lucky draw & 50 for DI (applied in May). However, this has been changed this year. As noted, they needed to put a lot ot extra effort to process the applications in the last stage.... but most of the band 1 students they accepted did not register if the lucky draw was good / favourable & gave up the chance. That's why they changed this in 2010 (that they needed to put resources on their 10th anniversity celebration). For the coming years, you can check the updated info. from the website. (usually updated in Sept for the coming year)

中華基金中學將於以下日期舉行簡介會及開放日，到時妳便可對該校了解多一點。

本年度簡介會將定於下列日期二時三十分舉行：
2010年11月6日(星期六)
2010年11月27日(星期六)
2011年3月27日(星期日)(這天亦為本年度開放日)
