Hi,

I am living in Apleichau and my children is boy. I am deciding move or not move to Wanchai (Net 11) for lucky draw. Though I might target on DSS and private

Is there any pros and cons of Net 18 vs Net 11? I can think of the pros to me for Net 11 is Wan Yan and St Joseph for boys. Can anyone recommend? Thanks in advance.

嘩，你這樣講，會得罪人喔。
聽過一個 bk 媽咪講，她的兒子，小學讀南官，中學入英皇，現在港大讀醫。
南官一級有5班，每級有一班精英班，因為南官的聯系中學是英皇和 BPS, 所以精英班多數去這兩間中學。

My case is same like you!

My boy is studying in Southern District and we are living in Ap Lei Chau.

I am planning whether we will be moving to another District in order that he might got the chance to enter into a better primary school (though 始南/南官 is also ok, but there seems no connection for secondary school).

My preference is 中西區, but one of my worries are whether he might really enter to those schools ideally though you are living in that district or we might end up with failure???!

I am still thinking of those possibilities...

So what is st james and where, is it boy/girl school and any secondary school

And do you know if 軒官上下 get 精英班 to QC

12網出左名係好網 (女仔更好), 男仔除左st jo華仁, 仲有軒官上下st james寶血等, 如果大抽獎策略唔係過份aggressive, 要入以上幾間應該都好穩陣

我諗小學無問題, 而係

根據最近 EMB 報告

南區此區津貼中學英中學位很少, 小學升中時要爭得很利害先爭到一英中位.

而 Net 12 英中多, 而平均每3人有一個入到英中, 是全港比例入英中最好的一區. (很多是名校 tim)

所以可以的話, 小朋友出 Net 12, 對將來上英中的機會大很多. (純綷是個人意見)

So, if the children study in net 18 govt/subsidy school (suppose the good one), then how easy or difficult to jump in good net 12 secondardy english school. Will it be very difficult or any example?

Also is 軒官上下 treat as one or two school during the P1 application. Thx.

咁即係話Wanchai既小學校網仲好過中西區0個邊啦.尤其係英小tim.

以樓下所說,平均3個學生有1個可以順利入到想入既學校,咁機會都好大噃.

咁Wanchai除咗軒小仲有咩啱男生既小學呢?

我個朋友個家姐,佢個仔仔讀軒小就派咗去玫瑰崗.不過我都唔清楚玫瑰崗好唔好.

How do u plan before, are u moving to the wanchai or still using southern address

我都係無分架,適齡/大仔,最基本既15分.

我報了一間私校, 不過第一輪自行收生收左亞女就無去私校interview啦.

我無打算搬屋, 如果第一輪唔得我會等統一派位時填跨區12網, 如統一派位失敗最後會嘗試扣門. 好彩第一輪成功得左,真係安樂哂.
