我覺得兩件教學模式差無多 ﹐ 比較 focus啟發小朋友的思維 ﹐ 用活動教學。。。你地會點 choose?

我就覺得creative淺好多, hkps注重語言, Ascot: n1已經教phonics, K1一開學就寫字, 小朋友weekends 有readers要睇有週記要寫..

依家好多research都講,小肌肉未發展得好之前,不應該寫太多字. CPSK也從K1開始教phonics,仲有poetry art. 甘細個寫週記,其實又係父母寫. SC也只是一星期看一本書,然後要小朋友用0-5個哈哈笑來表達是否喜歡那本圖書,我覺得這樣比較符合這個階段學生能夠achieve的能力. CPSK每週派一本phonics小書仔,每個月派一本中文圖書.

For me, I will choose CPSK coz considering the env of KG. In my impression, HKPS (Kln Tong) seems very small and opposite to 骨灰奄.

For Linguistic dev., CPSK also seems better. I have nephews who studied in CPSK and are very smart. Now they are studying in Ying Wa Collenge and 聖芳濟各小學. Very good la.

Also, creative primary has primary school, no need to worry to much when it comes to primary school. Any parents think the same?

Yes, you're right. but the tuition fee is high. about 6K per month.

Happy to see more people disclosing the information of CPSK. It seems like a quite balanced school with lots of merits:
1) small class size
2) caring teachers
3) nice campus
4) through train
5) kids are happy (ie parents are happy)
6) strong spoken languages (both english and pth) enable kids to pick up easily even in traditional primary school
7) good teacher to student ratio
8) got reading program
9) got tell and show program to strengthen kids' presentation skills and confidence (which are important in P1 interview)

weaknesses I saw so far:
1) external help or extra parents effort required on written english and chinese needs.
2) expensive primary school fees
3) not as famous (perceived guaranteed in P1 connection as KV and SC)

Let's extend the list and let more to benefit this summary. Thanks.

Valeriesmom, I think the same as you as I have got the offer letter from Creative.
DaisyDaisy, thanks ...got to know that people from CPSK accepted by a local primary school.
The point is that I am too frustrated. My daughter is now in Victoria and I am thinking if I should switch. Both schools are IB, however, Creative is in Kowloon side which is more convenient for me.

我知道讀左啟思小學,都可以考傳統中學,例如德望.仲有d人會去其他IB的中學就讀.

Victoria的幼稚園生好多,是否一定可以入到小學呢? CPSK應該就無問題喇.

hkps 每星期派比小朋友睇果兩本readers, 係要父母同子女一起睇, 令小朋友自少有閱讀習慣, 睇1wk 之後回去講番書的內容比老師聽, 即係要佢地明內容, 識vocab, 同運用語言, 小兒讀n 班也應付自如, 唔覺得不能achieve 喎. 如只是睇完就合印, 咁就要看咁樣睇書的目的是什麼.

訓練小朋友寫周記唔係現階段, 你誤會了, 據知係 k2-k3 的事, 所以,唔係家長寫的.
