My son will start P1 this Sept. at SPCC. Now I am planning for travel arrangement. Can anyone make suggestion ? My priority is to have a quick way to school and not over 1.5 hrs on school bus.
1. School bus schedule ( Wonderland Villas to SPCC ) ? Any SPCC boys from Wonderland Villas in the past ?

2. Car Pool if any parents interest ?

3. Drive by myself every morning for 20km ?

I suggest that you may call Mr. Wong at 9080 2514 for the school bus schedule.

Driving your kid to school may not be a very good idea, because there is always a very scary long line queuing in front of the school. And the traffic in Aberdeen can be quite messy during 7:30am-9:30am, and that's why the school buses have to pick up the kids very early in the morning to avoid the traffic.

I used to live in N.T., and I decided to move to Aberdeen because the kid has to go to the school there for 6 years. Now, he can wake up at 7am and take the 7:30am school bus, and he can arrive home at 3:20pm after school. He has enough rest and study time. And he can also participate some school activities without having any hesitation because of living far away.

我同意，而且我o地亦將會係咁做 !!

4年前為o左就囡囡返學搬過o黎 CWB (行路返學)，依家都會為阿女返學再搬 (南區)，不過就會安排搭校車 !!

知道海怡半島會係最遲先上校車 (7:30a.m.)，不過暫時都未打算搬去海怡；其他地方，仍然在物識階段 !!

家家有本難諗的經，各有所求亦無可厚非；為子女努力o既家長們打打氣，加油呀 !!

小女今年入讀, 我問過校巴公司, 原了除了海怡外, 最遲上校巴的站竟然是藍田的匯景花園, 七點三才上車. 比銅纙灣, 及中西區還要遲. 所以唔一定要搬到南區.

Actually, it is correct that NamTin is the second latest pickup spot, however, there will be traffic when the school bus deliver your kids back home, and the timing can be quite unpredictable. Secondly, if your kid is going to take the after school activity or school team practice, the school bus will only deliver the kids to North Point MTR station. So you have to consider these two factors. Hope this helps ^_^.

I live near Kowloon Bay and I am seriously considering Lam Tin as the pick up point after your helpful advice.
Initially, I think my hands are tied until June when the school releases buses schedules.
Now, I can take a practive approach based on all these useful tips.  Thanks.
