so is it an argument that support that people do change their constitutional character once they move to a mono sex environment?
these maids may not from a single sex school, however, once they arrived in hong kong, their social life become only with other maids... which create an switch base on adaptation of mono sex environment... ?!?!?!
other than school, we may also find a similar mono sex environment like church, prison, or army..... which we may sometime heard some extreme case occurs....
i came from a boys' school, and luckily to be normal and married...
but somehow, i did find i had a lot of difficulties dating with girls after secondary school....
as emmyfok has mentioned, and she is right....
my own opinions from the hong kong girls i know in the pass (of cause including my own sisters..... sorry sisters ), give me images that they are in general difficult to approach, opportunist, and sometime selfish... (may be just i didn't really have luck with hong kong girls, that's all... )
i agree that the academic result may generally more even in a mono sex school. however, we still can find a lot of students with 10As every year who are coming from normal boy and girl schools....
i do find that girls from girls' school may usually more independent due to they have been trained to live without asking help from boys during these years!!
so as conclusion... there is no conclusion!
i'm in the same opinion as ziyi. target the schools based on their curriculum, education philosophy and school vision. there is still a long way to go for our child after primary school! :loveliness: |
