both are good, but creative seems better as half in english and half in mandarin..

好貴,好似要6-7萬一年,不過我從未想過俾佢係度讀小學,都係寄望派位同埋考私校.我覺得培養個細路中意返學好緊要.佢依家去到邊度,參加咩活動都好主動,樣樣都中意玩,做功課又快,我都好開心.

I also gave up York's offer and registered for Creative Primary yesterday

I think both are good, but I don't want to pay registration fees for 2 schools. I like the kids in Creative as they're all very polite and love to go to school!!!!

But of course..., waiting for the results for SC, but Creative Primary should be my 2nd choice!!!!

我個大b讀呢度,細b讀SC,兩間都好好,校舍一定係呢度好好多,SC好細,個班房細到嘔. 但SC個進度都好快,細b已經學左野.

creative primary's course 深不深啊？
i visited Cannes and found their book so so so easy
as i already buy the disney set for my son i want him to study on a more difficult program
i know SC is 深 and KV is super 深 but not sure about Creative Primary as honestly not too much talk about creative primary at baby kingdow...
any parent can share more info on Creative primary?

不算深,但小朋友知道好多常識.我平時同阿女相處,佢突然會說一些話題,是我不知道佢竟然會知道的事.她說是老師講的.生活上有很多常識概念,老師上堂都會講(因為係小組教學,老師會就住主題同埋個別同學既興趣講多d).呢度少人討論,係因為d比較緊張("谷")既家長一般都會好留意BK,而選擇creative的家長,一般都希望孩子愉快學習多d.

我最近多留意BK,都係因為要準備阿女升小學乍

if not 深 can the kid catch up to other primary school exam?
as i heard K2 already need to apply and all those exam they look at how much your kids know... so i hope as creative primary is private their course should be more 深 then gov't subsidy school right?
i want him to be happy, but happy is not the primary reason for choosing a school, otherwise will waste a kid in too easy environment..
before i like HKBU, but after interview found it too rubbish... too easy, no uniform? too free
also they have lot of resources/staff, but they are not organized at all.....

em, since you have both experience of Creative & SC if you compare the 2, would u consider Creative's curriculum to be too basic... and to extend not really teaching the kid much, or you think it's very fair just using a different approach from SC?

cos i have seen friends' kids studying at HKBU-kinder, seems their teaching is far too general and basic, tho the kids really didn't have much pressure.... yet the progress is also not obvious.... quite difficult to catch up when going to Pri

SC was in a hurry honestly no idea about the school..they never tell you about their school.... but oh well they are famous..
but Creative Primary they let teacher to speak with you to tell you about the school in detail.. i like their show thing....also have net teacher for half day and mandarin teacher the other half day.. i want a balance mix of english and mandarin , not just english.. as honestly chinese is more difficult to learn later on in life...
it will be tough to choose between SC and Creative Primary if SC accept us.. of cousre nobody knows

for HKBU, even they accept, we will reject the school.. i don't want my son to be a testing object by those student teacher..... on interview day, you see many helper they have, but they are not very organizer... also much duplicated work.....also too easy is not good... as life not easy.. kid should have some pressure in life....

The reason why i didn't choose Creative for my second kid was that SC is more famous. However, u should know that, there are about 500 kids in SC. Therefore, we can't say that all students in SC are smarter.

I think what my elder kid really learnt in the past one year was the presentation and the active participations in lessons. Her teachers were very caring and understood my kid well. She called my kids in June or July (during the H1N1 holidays) to chat with my kid.

For SC, I cannot comment too much coz my little one has studied here for only a few months. One difference is the teacher will only contact me if my kid has any problem(ie.forgot to bring sth).

If sb have offers from Creative and SC, to realistic, I'll choose SC coz it's more famous. Other than this, I don't really see a big difference between the two kindergartens. Both are good eventually.

I know a friend who had a kid in P1. He studied at HKBU before. She said it's too easy and that's why she asked her son to study Kumon Chi, Eng and Math before entering primary school!! God!! three sets of kumon homework to do everyday because she has chosen HKBU!!

so academic wise you think SC and Creative Primary are same?
how about P1? which school can go to better P1?
people choose HKBU coz it can go to P1 directly in Shatin... but i heard from friends kids in Wong Kam Fai very bad chinese.... in this world only english doesn't help..... a good mix of mandrain and english is good :)
