There is Putonhua class in school, it is just like Eng, Maths kind of class in normal daily lessons.
There is Put. Club as well, that is for every kid to choose from among 5 different clubs (Eng, Chi, Maths, Put, etc). This is called ECA (Extra Curriculum Activity held every Friday afternoon within school hours).
If for Interest Class, there is a fee-charging French class. As it is an interest class only, so you can free to join, not a must.
