st paul boy for sure!

老牌名校, 多名人畢業生, 雖然academic上無以前咁好 (我只係聽說), 但你去見工, 老闆肯定對這校印象最深.

就算有打算去外國讀書, 也不一定選IB課程的中學.

我自己不喜歡小朋友讀男校或女校，所以一定不會選St Paul。

反而我會選蔡繼有，我喜歡學校辦學理念。

我自己都有報音小並取錄了, 但間程度淺, 少功課, 著重品德(但這間是後備, 如果其它唔收再諗讀5讀, 已比留位費, 買個保險).

It is difficult to say which one is good, what you need is to choose one that suits your son and your expectation. You have to work out a 'wish list' first and see which one matches most to it.

維小 & 蔡繼有 are quite similar ( I have compared these two schools in various aspects). 音小 - I don't know much detail but understand that the students' conduct and behaviour are very good. St Paul Boys - I know a lot students there (past and present), this is a very traditional school.

我相信你除了從BK得到資料外，也要自己去去學校參觀開放日及簡介會，因為以我自己為例，我原本有一間首選學校，但去完簡介會及參考過其他資料後，該學校已被扣分，不再是首選了。

I went to St Paul Boys' to feel the atmosphere. I was disturbed by how lifeless the students appeared to be. Then I asked around and found their school work unusually heavy. I finally decided not to apply thou it is closest to my home.

my friend's son is studying at victoria and i ever attended his birthday party. most of the kids were rude and didn't know how to respect others. i will never consider to send my kids to study there as i believe the moral education is very important.

just personal opinion as i only met around 40 students at that party. don't

me!

上千人報名的學校, 要於2-3日見所有報名學生, 好多都係得幾分鐘時間. 一同去見SPCC朋友的兒子13分鐘就出來

CKY school campus is developing and is quite good but for sure the $$ is not just the school fee but all the other learning activities. Not withstand their school fee over 4000 for pri and 6000 to 10000 in the coming 10 years, their summer student exchange scheme go to London. Could you affort?

維小 & 蔡繼有 are quite similar schools but I am more comfortable with 維小 cos mine is a boy. I remember I went to 蔡繼有 introductory seminar. Among the current students who did presentation. 5 out of 6 were girls. The only boy presented his material by looking at the floor. This is a sign of lacking confidence. So I think that the way 蔡繼有 educated kids did not work well on a boy.

However, I would have to admit that 蔡繼有 has trained up the girls very well in doing presentation in front of the crowd.

For 音小, I do not have too much information. But I had a very positive experience with a teacher from 音小. The violin teacher of my boy is a music teacher of 音小. My kid is not naughty, but he is definitely not an easy one. We switched 3 violin teachers for him in the last 2 years. And this teacher from 音小 is the only one who has the patience with kids and knows how to make my boy work on his violin.

For St. Paul Boys, I remember I went to the school a year ago. The school is more traditonal than what I thought. It seems to me that the school has been following the same tradition for a hundred years without any change which I think is not good in a ever-changing world. :;pppp:

As far as I know, there are not enough seats in VSA for all VK students. So they would still need to interview all applied VK students for selection and there's still quite a competition.

Besides, I was told that they accepted a small number of non-VK students every year. So I think it's a bit like St Paul Convent in that aspect.
