我同事個朋友幫小朋友報咗15間, 都唔知佢會點撞期法.

以平常心對待無常事~~~試問有多少人能做到呢!?

間間學校都十個選一個,有啲二十個選一，今年競爭好大，除非抽勿都讀，如果唔係，要小朋友有最佳狀態，老師又鐘意佢先得，大人都未必次次可保持，何況小朋友！報多幾間保險D。十五間唔撞時間當上面試班！

i thought the most was Camoes TSL... 1/17....
really interested to know!

however, i admire the parents who are able to find 15 schools which they think are the right and suitable schools for their child....
i have made a long research and studies since 2 years... and the best we could select are just 3 primary schools which we think our son will have a happy school life and good education...
i'm impressed to know there is child who can be so flexible to such variable curriculum and school philosophy or vision...

Are you sure your kid can get into one of the third choices you make for him? If he fails and he is not lucky enough in the "lucky draw", would you regret you have not let him try more "not as desirable" DSS or private school?

ha ha ha!! we do have stress about that, however, as you mentioned, "not as desirable" is not an option for us.
as we have really choose the schools base on the best and capability of our son. and studied school by school which corresponds the best with their curriculum and education vision , we have finally select 3 schools, we think these schools are good for our son and so that we are convinced that our son will discover his potential and real ability then develop for the best result with these schools in return.
so other "not as desirable" schools would actually lost all these advantages and be more difficult to pass the interviews ... it will be just waste the time and energy in our own opinion.
therefore, as we focus only on these schools. we will go through 2nd round if we failed the 1st, prepare and make our son concentrate on this school and try the 2nd round, or knock the door if we need to until they accept our son!
we have studied hard to know exactly the weak points and advantages of our son, we know exactly why the school should take our son as primary one pupil. so we have to be confidence about the school we target as well.
just hope it works for us. to be honest, i'm quite stressful about all this school thing at such age of my son... however, this the way we fight the battle. we should not regret!

Same as me! I have only chosen 3 schools to apply so that my kid can be focused on the interviews of these schools and do the best instead of going to interviews like routines! Parents should best know what schools can accomodate their kids, and I believe that each school has its own characteristic so we must select what's good for our kids instead of applying schools by quantities ... we must ask ourselves, at the end of the day, if those school really accept your kid, would you really prefer him/her to study in that school? If not, then there's no point to apply so many schools and we must also teach our kids to be focused on what they want as well.

完全同意，最好所有學生做個IQ test，根天資派去唔同學校，因才施教。

Well said. That's why I have applied for more than 3 schools for my kid. After the first two interviews, she seems to be enjoying it. She is now looking forward to the next interview.
