My daughter (K1) is requested to bring the playtime phonics book everyday.  

I talked to the teacher during the registration day and confirmed it is NET (native english teacher).

Over the last 3 weeks in school they have taught the phonics "B" and "M".  Instead of only learning the words of ball, they have a page in the book with several full sentences.  To quote: " Bounce the ball, up and down.  Bounce the ball, on the ground".  My daughter can spell out the full sentence so I think the teacher has taught them.

On next week course outline showed that they will start the mandarin course.
