For last year -
10 boys in a group would go up to a classroom, which has toys/ games/books to keep them entertained. A teacher and a couple of prefects would be there to keep an eye on them Then each would be called to meet 2 teachers (together) on a one to one basis.
The teachers would ask very basic questions first like your name, which kindergarten..etc. and then a teacher would play a story CD (with music so it could be rather distracting) in the chosen language as indicated in your application form. My son had to listen to the story and answered some qestions afterwards (I think about 3-4 questions).
After that, he was given a piece of paper with lots of shapes on it and there was also a pile of alphabets with different colours. The teacher then told him to select 2 blue letters, 2 purple letters and 1 green letter and put them in the semi-circle, the triangle and the rectangle. My son said you have to listen to all the instructions first before you could start picking up the letters.
Then the teacher asked him to make up a word using a letter "B" or sth like that.
There might be one other item, but I couldn't remember now. Sorry... He then joined all those who had finished with their interviews in another room to watch DVD!! It think it was Buzzlightyear last year and don't be surprised if that's all he could remember afterwards!

我的孩子今年九月升K3, 亦要準備報小學. 他有學琴, 游泳, 溜冰, 亦有參加過一些朗誦及音樂比賽, 究竟有沒有幫助?
