| The ones that are between $ 200-$ 400 are best. There are ones that are below this range in price.

Difference is the SOUND, and the size of the Metronome.

There are these ones that look like a credit card, you need a pencil to hold it up, and it "beeps beeps" .... very annoying sound in my opinion. BUT, many people use it still, it does its purpose.

I personally like the bigger ones, but absolutely NOT necessary to buy the ones with alot of options like different rhythms, different beep tones, different buttons...etc.

You just need the BASIC dial to change the tempo, the turn on and off button, volume adjust (preferred) and the option to silent the metronome, just see the light. (good for competition use).

I personally like SHARP the most. Tom Lee doesn't sell this neither does Parsons.
I buy mine from Canada and Japan. A student bought it from Tsang Fook.

The ones from Tom Lee, I like Yamaha brand.
From Parsons, they don't have good ones, it's a HUGE brick like size one, but it also does its purpose.

The best sound I like is the Wooden block sound.
