跑馬地聖保祿小學 = secondary school is "直屬"中學, therefore it can take 85% of its primary school students. However the school is quite 谷 with lots of home work.
大坑真光小學 = secondary school is "聯繫"中學, therefore it can take 25% of its primary school students, the rest must go through central allocation and compete with others in order to promote to 真光中學. I don't know about the school workload, but some BK mom said it's less than St. Paul.
So afterall it's really the student and the parents' choice.
