I would take the 'Harvard' as number one and the only one for myself because after reading brilliant books such as 'Doctors', 'Class' and others written by Erich Segal. It seems so much fun and bitterness for endless studies as a Harvard undergraduate who is worshiped by outsiders. However, they are ordinary people, just like you and me. It's kind of path they choose and work it out.
I told my girl that I really love to be a Harvard student after reading those fictions and I should have determined my future since I was one year old to study cleverly so I would go through very different experience in life. But it's my fantasy, not hers.
I requested her to ignore my silly talk completely. She has one life and she should master it with no regrets. She even doesn't need to go to university if having a good reason for herself.
I always remind myself not to play the 'what if' games with my child. It's truly really not fair to plan her to finish my dream.

P.S. From above you can see how tiny I know
about Harvard apart from several friends finishing master and Ph.D. there. So how can I think what's the best for my precious child, and do the listing?
Seriosly speaking, if my chidlren would be able to accepted by any one of the 13 universities that are my picks and my husband's, my children should be mature and academically good enough to make such a choice. in such a circumstance, i myself should support them fully.
that i want them to study there isn't important however. what counts is "they want". if it's the case, they should know what to do to transform the want to a reality. in the process of this transformation, parents are their partners giving full support. on the contrary, it is surely meaningless to study there if they do not initiate the transformation, despite their parents can provide all-around support.
