Hi 哈呣,

My case is same with you! I like Victoria more than Think as Victoria is more famous than Think. But I prefer my son study in Kowloon Tong.

Do you pay the registration fee for Victoria?

Hi Heiyanmom,

I can find someone to talk eventually. 我有Play Registration Fee as I will go there to have playgroup on Sat. 我都覺得Victoria出名D. 但學東西, 就不太多. Think 不太清楚, 又話不是直升3yr班, 但老師給我的感覺很不錯, 而又是上午班. 都不知點揀.

My son went there for playgroup too, also accepted by Victoria(pm) and think(am). I know that we have to make a hard decision.

I don't learn more about Think too, but the teacher seem to be more professional, more mature . The teacher in Victoria, they look young, less experience.

I think I'll release the place of Think. Do you receive the letter of Parents Meeting from think? Are you going to there? It's better to go there if you want to learn more about Think!

Why you release the place of Think? I will go to understand more about the 升 K1 的問題. In fact, my Baba also prefer Victoria. So will you go to the Parents Meeting? However, there is a 親子旅遊 of Victoria HG playgroup on the same day. I want to join both.

My daughter also get a seat in Vic HG PM class, why do you choose Vic instead of Think. I heard from friends Think is quite good also.

Btw, have u heard about KeenMInd (哈呣, I know your kid is in waitlist in other forum), is Keenmind good compare with ViC? I am struggling..

frankly speaking, I don't know how to choose coz I am a first time mum.

I plan to put my daughter in local school in future where some ppls said Keenmind is good coz they are quite pushy in academic prospective where kid will feel less pressure when they reach P1. Also, per the primary school allocation posted in Keenmind's web, it is pretty good in general.

My concern is mainly on whether the english environment there is good or not (is it "Native" enough..) since I think english communication & creative skills is more important than academic in long term.

Btw, how is the playgroup in Vic (HG), is it good?

Yes, I know the academic standard of Keen Mind should be higher. I know one parent from my playgroup that she will let her girl join keen mind if keen mind and VC also accept her girl. Her girl is big girl and very smart in fact.

To me, the playgroup in Victoria (HG) is just so so. No special topic and just let them play freely. With song, toy playing, story time, art work, and tea time. 1 hr cantonese and 1 hr english.
