my girl study 1 year N1 and then 3 years K1 - K3.

Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes, I want my son study two years i.e. K2-3.

I know that bb study normally 3 years in kindergarten.

Any comments.

Most kindergarten need the student to start writing begining from first week of k2. Also, they start teaching simple words and chinese sentences. I think this will be a bit difficult to catch up if this is also the first year a child attend school. Unless parents teach the k1 material at home, it may be difficult to adjust from a free life style to a "demanding" life style.

I think the most important point is if the child can adjust. May be find some kindergarten that is not that demanding   .
