What do you think of the school? Does your kid like going to school? How about the teachers? My son is P1 student and he enjoys his school life very much. Do you check your kid's homework everyday.

My boy is at TSL P.2 class.  My kid likes going to school.  Teachers there are very young and friendly.
I have to check his homework everyday because my boy's Chinese writing is very messy & lousy.

But I can tell you after the examination, you will feel the stress.  As the school are using "curve" to count the students grade.  Even my boy can get  96 pounts in Maths, he was graded as "B", & get 90 pounds at General Studies - he was graded as "C".
Then you will know how keen is the competition there!

As I choose TSL for my son, I surely support this school.  Especially with the lead of Principal Lee, just give her some more time to do better for students.

My son is P.1 in TSL now.

Who can tell me that is it normal case for the P.1 student who has forgot to bring the homework from school ? Does the teacher remind them? He like going to school. However, I don't know what does he learn? For their homework, it is easy for Chinese and Maths, but it is difficulty wordings for General Studies and Computer Studies for P.1. students.
For English, I don't know what he has learn in lesson as no book reference. Do they do the Journal book themselves for P.1 student now?

Luckily, my son brings back everything from school everyday. But I think it is quite normal that p1 student left their books at school. For english journal, they need to write and draw what they have learnt in the class which is not that easy for my son. He need to write sentences on his own. For Maths and other lessons, I think the most difficult part is to understand the questions because they are all in English. I always make my son to read the questions even he can guess the answers from the pictures. Do you think they have too much homework? My son usually spend one hour to finish his homework everyday. Is he too slow??

The workload of homework is OK. I don't like so much homework for P.1 students. Many schools have more homework than TSL. However, I and my husband are working, no more time to teach him.
I send him to the tutorial centre to do homework. Unlucky, this teacher always miss to check the completness. I also follow once again. No more time to study his learn at the school that day.

Dear Y&T,

My son is in 1C.He is not from PLK kingder.. He doesn't have any tutor at the moment. I hope he doesn't need one. I try my best to check his homework after my work. I really want to spend some time with him because he does not have much time at home already. If I send him to the tutor, his day is too long. Now he wakes up at 6:30am and comes home 4:25pm. I feel sorry for him. But he never complain and have a good time on the school bus. He doesn't want to move closer to the school because he likes taking the school bus.

Any of your kid taking the school bus??

TSL claims that in P.2, they use Mandarin to teach Chinese subject. Is it true? Is it means that all the P.2 student can speak good Mandarin? How about P.3 arrangment? They will switch back to Cantonese or keep on using Mandarin?
