Dear keltafan,

如你接受私校的取錄後，再參加統一派位，則要小心．

因為有些私校（如培正？）知道你參加統一派位，也會取消你已接受的學位．所以你報私校時，最好問清楚該間私校有沒有這樣的規定．

我早兩日聽講座，教統局官員說他們會在5月左右把已獲私校取錄而又參加統一派位的學童名單送交該私校,讓該私校作參考(我本人覺得實則是通報該私校,有幾多小朋友把你這間私校作後備).因此，假如你最後統一派位的結果不滿意，而你那間私校又把你的學位取消，那你到時就兩頭唔到岸．所以事前必須問清楚．

By the way，除培正外，請問其他家長知否還有那些私校會取消學位呢？

如你已接受私校的學位,這間私學會通知教署的,你便不能參加統一派位

如果係直資學校就一定唔得。但私校呢，據知教統局會在統一派位前，要求所有私立小學呈交下學年已取錄的小一學生名單，之後就會個別發出函件，要求這些家長表明是否仍需為子女申請官立或資助學校。

如家長回覆教統局表示保留統一派位資格，咁教統局就會將資料交回該收取左上述學生的私立小學，咁就由個間學校決定留唔留個位比你囉

所以無話好似直資咁話一定唔得，要視乎個別學校。

It all depends on which private school you want to apply to. I know some schools, like Pui Ching, would not even let you participate in the first round which you can choose one school (government or subsidized). If you do so, your place in Pui Ching will be cancelled. For some other private schools, you can go on with the P1 allocation.

So you have to know the specific policy of different private schools.

都幾複習. 一定要去聽聽小一入學簡介的seminar先. 可能教統局要清礎計算學位及人數. 不過聽說如不參加大抽獎報,一些私小有優先取錄.

如果獲直資取錄，而你又決定接受，咁就一定要放棄官津的學位（即無得參加「大抽獎）。就算1st round獲得學位都係咁話。

如果報私小，仍可參加「大抽獎」，不過好睇那間私小會否取消你的資格，間間唔同做法。

For Pui Ching, its application starts in this Nov & interview in Jan05. So, we can still apply for the first round play but if accepted Pui Ching, you have to give up the 2nd lucky draw.
