仔仔2years old, always 流口水  How can I do? And he
don't know how to use the cup to drink water.  I feel him learning something must slowly then other same age kids. Do you agree 流口水 the kids difficult to learning speech, because he still can't call me Mum, I still waiting for the CAC arrange, the first time  nurse seen, waiting for see the Doctor( I wait around 3 weeks already) too long time......

Start form this month he goes to pre-nursery and
to Heep Hong for training once per week.  I don't know how come the effect later,  because he also less eye contact,  very active and less attention.

據你所講，你仔仔的唇部肌肉好似比教弱，你講去協康的training是否有做唇肌訓練呀？不過肌肉的訓練係要好長時間架，要成日做，就好似我地做gym咁，一唔做d肉就"掊"晒！如果協康有比訓練，就要係屋企成日做了。有智者事竟成，一定會有進步的。

Is your son receiving both speech therapy and occupational therapy at Heep Hong. As you said, the oral muscle control of your son is poor, that is why he 流口水 and has delay speech. Speech therapy can help that. And occupational therapy can help to train his attention. Agreed that you must continue the training at home ar!!!

Add Oil!!!!!

THANKS for your all support. In the HEEP KONG he just keep the 幼兒導師 training only, I suggest to the teacher to arrange the Speech Therapy to him but she said your son less attention, we should train him attention first then let him to do the SP, otherwise you just waste your money, because one lession just around one hour but he always run away. I think it has reason, so.... but sometimes I think the 幼兒導師 training just play the toy how about the effect? Really can make him attention increase and the 認知 also? Anyone have experiences can share with me?

我諗如果要針對減少流口水，都係要搵番言語治療或職業治療先幫到你仔仔架。講到attention唔夠，做口肌訓練都唔係要好長attention，當然1hr 的training淨係做口肌係長左d啦，最好做half hour啦。早d做言語治療對你仔仔好有好處架，會幫到他說話同時減少流口水。

Joanna,

My son shares exactly the same case as your son and he's also attending the 幼兒導師 training at Heep Hong, the same saying from the 幼兒導師, she also suggested us to increase his attention span first, but while doing this, we could put different kinds of foods on his lips for him to taste (as he is over-sensitive in his lips and mouth). He goes there once or twice a week and also playing toys only.

My son also always 流口水 when he was 3 years old and had speech delay. But the Speech Therapy said there was no problem on his mouth muscle development. She has suggested some exercise to my boy and he seldom 流口水 now
- blow bubble
- put a table-tennis ball on water and blow
- ask the kid to move his tongue up, down, left and right
- use a spoon and ask him to use tongue to push the spoon (鬥大力)

Hi Joanna,

So sorry for the late reply. My son is now 28 months old. He received several lessons at Heep Hong and usually they will wear a pair of clean gloves and put something on his lips to taste, and they will do the action like closing the lips and make a "Bop" sound and ask my boy to "take back" the 口水, sometimes it works.
