Homework :
Around 6 homeworks each day on average, sometimes 8-9 in the weekend, including correction. Each type is not much, eg, Chinese writing : average 8 columns, supplementary exercise: 1 to 2 page (even a single exercise is 3-4 pages, the school will divide it to 2-3 days' homework).
The school expects the students could complete each type in 10-30 minutes except for composition.
YingWa Homework
Projects are ususally done across 1-4 weeks.
Dictation:
Chinese and English dictation on alternative week, so each week only have one dictation.
There are creative dictation sections for both Chinese and English. Ie, students could write some additional words under a specific topic. Additional marks would be given for each correct word. Incorrect words would not caused deduction of marks under this creative section. As a result, students are eager to learn additional words themselves.
Test/Exam:
2 test and 2 exam
After-school activities:
Many types. Refer to the school website.
Others:
Open: can freely communicate with teachers, the principal and the social worker via phone, personally, individual email of the intranet.
can freely join the school music festival via school.
With the Principal Lam join the school in Sep04, the school would be further improved.
