I can try answering (my kid is in p.1)....others please feel free to supplement.
1. not more than 30 (there are 28 in my son's class)
2. There are 3 teachers teaching English in p.1(All P.1 will meet all of them. They focus on different teaching.) They're not NET.
3. p.1 -3 uses cantonese for chinese, but have putonghua classes. Full putonghua for chinese starting p.4
4. starting p.1 has science experiments
5. according to the Principal, 10 to 20% are gifted...(That's not important...all students receive same teaching from the same teachers in regular lessons)

This is true for grades FS1 and FS2 only. For the upper grades, class sizes will be larger to cater for the incoming students and to have more income to overcome the heavy expenditure.
